Coastal Children’s Advocacy Center is a Savannah-based non-profit providing forensic interviews and counseling services to children and adolescents who are victims of abuse and human trafficking. CCAC works closely with law enforcement and other area organizations to protect, serve, advocate, and educate within the Savannah community.

Coastal Chidlren’s Advocacy Center holds a special place in my heart. I am honored to serve as the current executive board president and work with staff as the clinical supervisor. The staff at CCAC works diligently to meet the needs of those most vulnerable and any contribution will directly support the rising demand for clinical services and community outreach.

The Trevor Project is a national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to the LGBTQ community. They provide 24/7 crisis support to vulnerable youth and offer valuable resources to ally communities.

LGBTQ youth are almost 5 times more likely to attempt suicide when compared to heterosexual youth and close to 40% of LGBTQ youth reported seriously considering suicide in the twelve months leading up to the pandemic. Any contribution you make helps provide life-saving support to youth in need while also honoring our friends, family, and parents who are a part of the LGBTQ community.

Healing 4 Heros is a non-profit based in Peachtree City, Georgia. The organization saves the lives of unwanted shelter dogs by rescuing them and training them to become A.D.A. compliant service animals. Healing 4 Heros matches each trained service dog with a veteran or military service member suffering physical and/or emotional traumas.

Healing 4 Heros has meaning for several different reasons. The organization is based in Patrick’s hometown, supports local animal rescues, and creates a path forward for service members in need. Patrick proudly serves in the United States Air National Guard and each donation honors the commitment, duty, and sacrifice made by all military service members and veterans.

The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is a charity located outside Nairobi, Kenya. The SWT is a conservation organization that works to support and preserve the African ecosystem while also providing a home and safe environment for orphaned elephants. Keepers and staff dedicate their love and care to the support and rehabilitation of orphaned elephants.

Elephants are incredible creatures and have long been a personal favorite. I have always felt connected to these majestic animals due to their ability to care for, grieve for, and bond with each other. When supporting the SWT, you have the opportunity to “adopt” an orphaned elephant. The SWT will send monthly updates on how your “little one” is doing. We have personally “adopted” several elephants (and a giraffe) and love supporting the tireless efforts made by The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
